Scope and Contents
The T. S. Dimmick collection contains glass lantern slides of scenes of family life and recreation. Images of family life include mealtime, Christmas, relaxing at home, leisure activities. The recreation images include visits to a beach, sailing, fishing, iceboating, sledding, and bicycling.

Biographical Note
Information about the creator of the collection is not known. It is possible there is a connection to Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) students with the last name of Dimmick who graduated in 1863, 1911 and 1916.
