The Mary Zurburg collection contains two scrapbooks and also a list of her floor mates, reminiscences, and a biography sheet. The scrapbooks contains materials from her time as a student at Michigan State University including greeting cards, event and play programs, newspaper clippings, report cards, dance cards, tickets, marriage and birth announcements, photographs, student activity identification cards, a commencement program, play programs, and photographs and mementos from a trip to New York City.

Biographical Note
Mary Martin Zurburg was born in Ferndale, Michigan. She and her two siblings, Thomas F. Martin and Betty Martin Cudworth, all graduated from Michigan State University. Mary graduated in 1958 and became a teacher. She met Henry (Hank) H. Zurburg, Jr. (1935-2008) before she went to MSU. They were reunited when he transferred to MSU and were married in 1959. They had two children.
