Historical Note
The Institute of Nutrition was first organized in 1944 by the State Board of Agriculture and re-activated in 1967. The Institute was part of the College of Human Ecology and continued until circa 2005.
The Institute was organized to promote education and research in nutrition and to provide the vehicle for development of interdepartmental graduate programs.
