Scope and Contents

The collection consists of Martin Pschigoda's 1960 Masters of Arts diploma in presentation folder, and a copy of his obituary. Also included is a certificate, group photograph and roster for the MSC Continuing Education Dispatcher and Warehouse Foreman Course in 1953.

Biographical Note

Martin D. Pschigoda was born July 20, 1929, in St. Joseph, Michigan, to Mildred (Quade) and Daniel Pschigoda. He graduated in 1947 from St. Joseph High School and South Bend College of Commerce in 1949. He served in the US Army during the Korean Crisis.

Returning from the military, Martin graduated from Ferris Institute (now Ferris State University) with a BS in accounting in 1955 and Michigan State University with a MA in Business Administration in 1960. He also earned additional credits from the University of Michigan, Indiana University and Michigan State University.

Martin had worked as an accountant in industry. He retired in 1986 from Berrien County Intermediate School District (Regional Education Service Agency.)

He died November 26, 2014 at age 85.
