Scope and Contents
The Barker Family Papers consist of a membership certificate for Robert O. Barker for the Porpoise Honorary Swimming Fraternity for 1952, as well as a Club Boarding Association stock certificate for Cecil E. Barker for 1921. The materials were laminated by the donor.

Biographical/Historical
Cecil E. Barker attended Michigan Agricultural College from 1921 to 1923. Robert O. Barker attended Michigan State College from 1951 to 1954. During his time at MSC, Robert studied hotel, restaurant, and general institution management as well as language and literature. He graduated with a B.A. in Speech from the school of Science and Arts.
