Biographical / Historical

Paul A. Rubin is a Professor Emeritus of Management Science, retired from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. His primary research interest is in the application of integer programming models and algorithms. He has been published in IIE Transactions, Operations Research, Decision Sciences and European Journal of Operational Research. Rubin is also active in the INFORMS Pro Bono Analytics project.

Rubin earned a A.B. in Mathematics from Princeton University (1973), M.S. in Probability and Statistics from Michigan State University (1978), and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Michigan State University (1980).
