Biographical / Historical

Fidelis Fuester Hill was born May 6, 1932 in Kingston, Tuscola County, Michigan to Ralph and Vina Fuester. She graduated from Caro High School in Caro, Michigan in 1950, and from Tuscola County Normal School in 1951. Hill taught in rural schools for two years prior to marrying Ermel Wayne Hill of Clarence, Missouri on April 22, 1955. She taught Sunday school for 17 years at the First United Methodist Church in Pigeon, Michigan. Hill also worked with special education children for 15 years, and headed the Huron County Special Olympics for five years. Hill died October 19, 2011.
