Content Description

The Harold B. Nichols collection contains photographs of MAC homecomeing. Two photographs show the homecoming parade on November 5, 1921. They show a group of women walking along a road and campus and the other shows a cow pulling a cart as well as cars. The other photograph has the caption "see the 24 sophs Nov 4 1921 at M.A.C" and shows a large group of people in front of what appears to be an unlit bonfire. There is a building in the background that appears to be the artillery garage.

Biographical Note

Harold B. Nichols, from Schoolcraft, Michigan attended Michigan Agricultural College in 1921 majoring in engineering. Prio to that, he served in the Navy in World War I and mustered out in 1919.
