John Delavan papers
Scope and Contents
The John Delavan papers include curriculum materials for veterinary classes at Michigan State University and Alma College, reprints of veterinary health articles by MSU faculty on poultry and streptococcic infections in dogs, a program for a Post-Graduate Veterinary Conference at MSU, and a Laying House Program-Poultry Conservation for Victory brochure from 1943.

Biographical note
John W. Delavan graduated from Michigan State College in 1945 with a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine Degree. He received his B.S. at Alma College and his M.S. in Zoology at the University of Michigan. After his graduation from M.S.C., Delavan practiced veterinary medicine in Alma, Michigan for 30 years. He died in 2002.
