Honors College records
Scope and Contents
The records of the Honors College consist of independent study reports (1972-1974), and Honors College Student Handbook (undated), information on graduate study, and miscellaneous pamphlets and papers (1956-1970). There are also published and unpublished annual reports and serials. The Electronic Resources includes correspondence in the form of e-mail memos and attachments, and recruitment materials from 2013-2015.

Historical Note
The Honors College at Michigan State University was established in 1956, and began its operations in the fall of 1957. Since its inception it has been administered by the Office of the Provost.
