Scope and Contents

This collection contains two issues of Starminion from 1975 and 1976, the first two issues of the magazine. The illustrations and articles came from Michigan State University students "with literary and artistic talent…who don't feel quite ready to tackle the professional magazines yet." The issue of Greasy Kid Stf, contains fiction, articles, editorials and artwork.

Historical Note

The Science Fiction Club met every term Friday at 7:00 pm in the Union Building. The members created Starminion and Greasy Kid Stf, both of which are science fiction/fantasy creative magazines. Both were funded by Michigan State University and the Student Media Appropriations Board.
