Historical Note
The National Iranian Radio and Television Instruction film project was created to produce a series of instructional films that would accurately document the history and culture of Iran. Cooperating institutions included National Iranian Radio & Television (NIRT), Ministry of Culture of Art, Tehran University, University of Pennsylvania and New York Metropolitan Museum. The project started in 1974 and continued through 1977 but it is unclear whether the films were ever completed and shown.
