Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame records
Scope and Contents
The Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame records consist of nomination files for inductees 1994-2008. The files contain nominations forms, correspondence, biographical information, articles by the nominee, and articles about the nominee. A few of the files contain photographs of the nominees. The records also include a program from the 2007 induction event.

Historical Note
The Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame honors reporters, editors, publishers, owners, photographers, broadcasters, and educators who have made contributions to the journalism profession. The Journalism Hall of Fame began in 1985. It continues the tradition of the Michigan Newspaper Hall of Fame awards which occurred from 1952 to 1968.
