Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection is comprised of materials from Herbert W. Spendlove's time working in journalism. This includes his time as a reporter for the Saginaw News, city editor for the Saginaw News, editor for the Jackson Citizen Patriot, and editor of the Ann Arbor News. Of particular interest is correspondence between Spendlove and major figures such as J. Edgar Hoover, George Romney, and George Wallace.
