These are the files pertaining only to Mr. Irwin T. Holtzman and his work. They include information pertaining to recognitions of his work, events for which he was a speaker, foundations he contributed to/sponsored, drafts and final versions of his Checklists of the Achievement of Israeli Literature (various years), bibliographies of items in his libraries, information about the Holtzman-Harman Room, funeral materials, business cards from library room donations and the acquirement, contents, and appraisal of this collection at Michigan State University. Correspondences covering events and requests/thank you’s for Mr. Holtzman’s Checklist are included in this series. Note: Correspondences regarding the acquirement of this collection at Michigan State University are in Series 1. Irwin T. Holtzman’s personal notes and checklists, which didn’t pertain to one specific author, are included in this series under bibliographies. Irwin T. Holtzman’s personal bibliographies on Arabic literature are also included in this series under Arabic Literature.
