Scope and Contents
The Men's Magazines Collection contains three boxes of magazines dating from the 1980s through the early 2000s. The collection starts with a set of Adam Bedside Readers, which were men's magazines designed for and marketed to straight men, many of an erotic nature. The collection houses magazines on a variety of topics and featuring different themes including couples, swingers, heavy-set individuals, and women from different multicultural backgrounds. Items of note include several Hustler and Playboy (in boxes 2 and 3) special issues, porn video magazines, and a motorcycle magazine.
