The Latino/Mexican lobby card collection is comprised of 177 color and black-and-white lobby cards promoting and advertising Mexican American and Latino films spanning the time period from 1937 to 1991. The film topics include mystery, comedy, drama, western, and romance. Each title includes several cards depicting variant action scenes from the film. Key Mexican American and Latina actors in the collection include: Anthony Quinn, Raquel Welch and Rita Moreno. Other actors and directors of note are Antonio and Luis Aguilar, Lola Beltrán, Pedro Armendáriz, Flor Silvestre, Cornelio Reyna, Fernando Soler, Jose Ferrer and Emilio "El Indio" Fernandez. The Aguilar brothers, Armendáriz and Emilio Fernandez were popular stars at the height of Mexico's Golden Age of cinema. Others Golden Age stars include Gloria Marin, Ramon Gay, comic actor "Tin Tan" (Germán Valdés), Marcelo Chávez, Libertad Lamarque, Sofia Álvarez, Luis and Antonio Aguilar, Ana Bertha Lepe, Mapy Cortés, Andrés Soler, and Lilia Prado. A rare lobby card includes actress Rosaura Revueltas in a supporting role for the movie Lo Mejor de Teresa (1976, sheet #51).
