The text on the back of the photograph reads "Internees Help with Illinois Peach Harvesting. Freeburg, Ill.: Tak Kakita, a Jap internee from the Rohwer Relocation center at McGehee, Ark. proudly displays a handful of peaches which he picked on the Alvin Eckert farm near here. Twenty internees from the center have arrived in this section to aid in picking the peach crop, bringing their own cook, and plenty of rice."
