Mellow Muse Productions, 1979-c. 1985, was founded by Terry Grant, Sue Emmert, Susan Wittcoff, and Jane Winter with the mission to present educational and cultural events and activites in Michigan, especially the Lansing-area, and promote the economic independence, physical, and psychological well-being of women by providing training and channels of communication for women in communication and media fields.
