Scope and Contents
This collection of calendar art consists of materials acquired as a purchase by the MSU Libraries or items separated from the papers of Juana and Jesse Gonzales, Julio Cesar Guerrero and Pedro and Diana Rivera. The items in the collection are as early as 1972 and the bulk in the first decade of 2000.

Hayward, CA: Southwest Network, 1976, 28 pp. 36 x 56 cm.; black and white with color cover of eagle with spread wings. Each month features black and white sketches, charcoal drawings, or photographs of sculptures, as well as historical events significant to Chicana/o history. First printed for 1972 (none for 1973) but 1974, 1975 were issued. Note: El Calendario Chicano is an outgrowth of La Causa, a community group in Oakland, CA.
