Abstract

A historical review of migration and immigration to Lansing, Michigan, and social life in Lansing, for Mexican Americans, African Americans, and Italians during the early 1900s. Uses archival photographs, film, and interviews. Interviewees include: Charley Spagnolo, Efrain Marinez, Delma Lopez, Maria Velasquez, Wilbur Howard, Icie Walker, Ubaldo Patiño, Edgar Moore, Teresa Lud, Georgia Brown, and Chuck Brown.
