Scope and Contents
New York and Porto Rico Steamship Company booklet containing illustrated map showing the various steamship service to Porto Rico from New York City, Galveston, and Port Arthur, Texas, New Orleans, and Key West. Haiti is named Santo Domingo on this map. Booklet provides the history of Puerto Rico and provides views of Fort San Cristobal, the Governer's Palace at San Juan, street scene of Cayey, one of the smaller towns, the Plaza Principale of San Juan, and a water cart as being a typical road vehicle. Other images include the state room and promenade deck of S. S. Brazos.
