Scope and Contents
This file contains correspondence, memorandums, articles and other notes mostly concerning the Africa Project’s and LCCRUL’s financial situation and attempts to raise funds; reports on all the different activities that the LCCRUL has been involved in; legal assistance in South Africa; and general correspondence between individuals about flights, funds, itineraries, etc. Also included are several letters to the United States Naval office in New York concerning their assistance in imports/exports to South Africa; a letter addressed to the LCCRUL from the Soviet Union concerning the Soviet Afro-Asia Committee’s support of their efforts; a letter from Tokyo announcing plans to involve the Japanese government in blocking the importation of nuclear materials into Southern Africa.
