Scope and Contents
The folder contains a note from Anne Schneller of MSU African Studies Center which reads “These photos on Nsukka were given to us by the Axinns. If you think it appropriate, could you pass them on to the University Archives, or do whatever you think best with them?”
Photo 1 (polaroid) depicts a man sitting on a stoop
Photo 2 depicts a Nigerian offering a lecture while others look on.
Photo 3 is a Portraiture of a Nigerian.
Photo 4 is a wedding photograph (persons unknown)
Photo 5 has a caption which reads “Haven E.K. Orisi, receiving a certificate of merit as a Zonal Leader of off-campus students, UNN, during a hall dinner at New Refectory – May 1977” To Professor Hanson, with gratitude, from Haven Orisi.
