Scope and Contents
The Terry Link papers consist of correspondence, mailings, directories, pamphlets, publications, photographs, news clippings, and emphemera relating to Link's campaign for becoming the Michigan Governer, as well as his activism and political interests heavily relating to anti-nuclear war and anti-Apartheid. This collection includes extensive handwritten speeches by Harris Frank Beeman and correspondence and mailings to the South African Liberation Committee that the Beemans organized and which Link participated in.

Folder contents include handwritten recollections by Frank Beeman on racism and racial terror in the American South, color photographs of a funeral attended by African-American people, a letter to the editor about East Lansing City Council, information on herbal supplements, color prints of anti-Apartheid activists, an East Lansing City Council resolution on South Africa (3 August 1977), a State of Michigan House Concurrent Resolution No. 462 on Sanctions Against the South African Government (6 February 1978), and recommedations for a curriculum on African-American history in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
