This collection of calendar art consists of materials acquired as a purchase by the MSU Libraries or items separated from the papers of Juana and Jesse Gonzales, Julio Cesar Guerrero and Pedro and Diana Rivera. The items in the collection are as early as 1972 and the bulk in the first decade of 2000.

Mexico City, Mexico: Landin Calendarios, 2003, one page. 28X68cm., color. 2016 calendar for Tortilleria El Milagro de Texas, Inc., Austin, TX. Reproduction of unidentified painter depicting Virgin Guadalupe at back, charging bull stopping in its tracks and fallen bull fighter. Verso has text of 4 aparitions of the Virgin, a biography of Juan Diego, the indigenous man to whom she appeared and a chronology 14-75-2002. Bottom has small 13 page monthly tear off (December thru December) that include the Catholic feast names, front and factoids on verso.
