William Rogers (b. May 12, 1927) was a lawyer, Deputy U.S. Coordinator for the Alliance of Progress (1963-1965), Deputy Assistant Administrator for Agency for International Development (1963-1965), U.S. Department of State -- Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs (1974-1976). Distringuished Service Award from U. S. A.I.D. A Author of The Twighlight Struggle: The Alliance for Progress and the Politics of Development in Latin America, Random House, 1967.
