Biographical / Historical
Originally planned as two separate events, the Jon Stewart Rally to Restore Sanity and the Stephen Colbert March to Keep Fear Alive were combined into one rally and held on 30 October 2010 on the Washington Mall in Washington, DC. The estimated attendance was 250,000. Both rallies were organized in response to a rally held at the Lincoln Memorial by Glenn Beck on 28 August 2010.
