Biographical / Historical
Michael S. Morris, born in 1940 in South Africa, is of a Swiss and South African heritage. As a writer, his areas of interest include air/space topics, criminology, international relations/current affairs, politics/ government. His career has centered on his work as a specialist researcher into armed conflict, terrorism and air incidents. He has served on the faculty of Michigan Sate University and Ecole Global, and was a fellow in the World Literacy Academy. Morris’s publications include Armed Conflict in Southern Africa 1975, The Art of Conflict in Southern Africa 1975, Hostile Actions Against Civil Aviation (annual) 1980-, Soapy Water and Cabinda 1985, The Madison Bombings 1988, Conflict Graphics 1990, State of the Nation 1990, Cards, Comics and Dragons 1991, Select Hostile Actions 1995. Morris is also a novelist, and has an interest in comic art.
