Sponsored by the Michigan State University Libraries, the symposia were held at Michigan State University 1992 through 1995, 1997 and 1998. Symposium themes include “American Indian Authors,” “A Tribute to Isabel Miller,” “ Campus Writers and Poets,” “A Sumac Reunion,” and “ The Fourth Genre: Creative Nonfiction.” Featured are authors Marcia Aldrich, Gogisgi/Carroll Arnett, Betty Louise Bell, Joseph Bednarik, Stuart Dybek, Richard Ford, Katherine V.
