Scope and Contents
The collection consists of 1 box of interview field notes with former baseball players Bill Freehan, Kevin Collins, Reno Bertoia, Jim Northrup, and Willie Horton, baseball coach Don Lund and baseball announcer Ernie Harwell and family members. Also included are family photographs and news clippings. A signed photograph by Hank Aguirre of the illustration for the book jacket is also included as well as a draft manuscript for the book "The Tall Mexican".

Biographical / Historical
Robert E. Copley was Hank Aguirre's (b. 1931 - d. 1991) friend for over thirty years and served as director of communications for owner Aguirre's Mexican Industries. He worked as a journalist in print and radio.
