This collection is of several hundred photographs taken by SARC in the 1980s in Mozambique. Photographs cover both political events and some photos of daily life, including photographs of Samora Machel.

The Southern African Resource Center was an activist organization located in Los Angelas, California, which worked for the liberation of southern Africa and anti-apartheid efforts in the 1970s and 1980s.
