Abstract

This 15 page paper was a report prepared by the University of Michigan Hispanic Alumni Council (UMHAC) by Eduardo Torrres and Armando Rivas for Presient Lee C. Bollinger. Contents of the report are on the recruitment and retention at U-M and the lack of progress with increases in student enrollment and retention and other recommendations.

This folder contains the program for the 1st Annual Inter-Agency Hispanic Conference hel on August 9-11 at St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron Michigan. Keynote speakers included Armando M. Rodriguez, Congressmen John Conyers, Jr. and Carl Pursell and Roy Fuentes. Inserted is a brochure on Pregnant Workers Rights issued by the Michigan Department of Labor.

Abstract This 80 page document was edited by Antonio Flores and Barbara Ann O'Kelly as a report commissioned by the Michigan Educational Opportunity Fund. Abstract

This folder includes the program for the IV annual program for the Pontiac Michigan Mexican Patriotic Committee. The program includes a brief history of the Comité in Pontiac, the names of Comité officers and steering committee members as well as a brief history of Mexico's independence and a diagram explaining the Aztec Calendar.
