Folders contain documents and materials relating to the Hispanic/Latino Community Consultation Network Summit, held in Washington D.C. on June 22-24, 2003. The goals of the summit were to "provide a forum for Hispanics and Latinos to identify, prioritize, and disseminate information on genetic issues and develop recommendations for policies and strategies to increase the benefits of research among the Hispanic/Latino population." John Castillo was a presenter at this summit.

Scope and Contents From the Collection: The John J. Castillo papers includes materials from projects that Castillo and his firm worked on and developed. This includes work with the Human Genome Project, Communities of Color and Genetics Policy Project, the Latino Genetics Community Consultation Network and other diversity projects.
