Program booklet, 18 pp. Beautiful booklet including photo scenes from the famous story by Helen Hunt Jackson set in California of 1870. Early silent version directed by Donald Crisp, which includes Latino characters. The earliest feature film adaptation of classic novel about old California by Helen Hunt Jackson. When his girlfriend tells him that his men wouldn't follow him to a house of ill repute, Max, a general in the Mexican army decides to perform some great act of heroism.
