The collection consists of newspaper clippings and photographs relating to Concord House and Ruth Starke Bulkheads' crowning as Agriculture Queen in 1938. Included are two songs that were sung by the Concord House residents and a copy of Spartan from June 1938 that contained a photo of Ruth Starke after winning the title of Queen of Agriculture. Scope and Content

The Bubble contained short articles, poems, and notices of events around campus. There was substance to the articles, though their tone was often satirical or humorous. There were observations of lectures, books, and the evils of smoking. The publication also took great joy in insulting neighboring communities. After Burton graduated The Bubble ceased to exist. It would be 13 more years before another student publication appeared on campus.
