The collection consists of the book "A Love Affair by Letter: World War II Correspondence of a Michigan State Co-ed and Her Soldier" by Louise Staelens and J. Sterling Price edited by Linda Price Rallo, 2019. The book contains transcripts of letters from 1941-1945 and are mostly about their personal lives and contain few references to the military aspects of World War II.

Included are letters and documents relating to the banking functions of the Consolidated Association of Planters in Louisiana; an 1808 land survey (French); a document dealing with the sale of slaves (1829); and an invitation to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Andrew Jackson's victory at New Orleans.

This collection consists of typewritten excerpts from memoirs written by Lucy Perrin Palmer whose relatives settled in St. Johns, Michigan. Most notable among these was Henry M. Perrin, lawyer and state senator. The memoirs cover family history from 1840 to 1889.
