Clark family papers

Scope and Contents This collection consists primarily of correspondence and account books. The letters, which span ninety years, are between members of the Wall, Clark and Handy families. The bulk of the letters are from Hannah Wall Handy to her sister Abigail, who married Charles Clark. The Clarks moved to Grand Haven, Michigan, from Maine in the 1850s. Edward G. Read family collection

The Edward G. Read papers contain materials related to Read, his wife, children, and relatives. Included are personal and business correspondence, recipe books, pamphlets, cards, and publications. The family papers series has a four volume set titled The Peak - Peake Family History by Cyrus Peak. The photographs include the Barber, Shepard, Read, and Peak families, as well as unidentified people and an aerial view of a farm.

This collection contains folders of recipes that were used in Michigan State University dormitory dining halls. Some have handwritten revisions attached to them. There is also a program from the Mildred L. Jones (assistant manager of residence hall in charge of food service) honorary dinner and a short manuscript entitled "My Food Service Career at Michigan State University."
