Alva True Stevens papers consist of one item, a menu and program from a "Bachelors' Banquet" held at Michigan Agricultural College (now Michigan State University) in November, 1894. Stevens and sixteen other men appear in a photograph on the cover. The banquet, an end-of-the-term celebration, included an elaborate dinner, speeches, recitations, and music. The Alvin E. House papers contains publications written by House on county government and a cooperative extension booklet about the Michigan legislative process. Some of the publications were written with Kenneth Ver Burg and Eugene Wanger. Also included is the publication "Guide to Michigan County Government" by Kenneth Verburg who was House's colleague.
