This collection contains the majority and minority reports of the Commission on Inquiry into the Cost of Milk, appointed by Michigan Governor William Brucker. The commission presented its reports to Brucker in 1931. Also included are the constitution, by-laws, and history of the Michigan Milk Producers Association. The commission apparently used these materials in preparing its findings.

The papers of Henry Larzelere pertain to his work with Michigan regional fruit cooperatives. Specific organizations contained in the collection include the Michigan Blueberry Growers' Association, the Millburg Growers' Exchange, Peach Marketing Group, the South Haven Fruit Exchange, and the Watervliet Fruit Exchange. The aim of these cooperatives was to maximize their profits.

This collection consists of a 1953 published work by Veatch, soil survey maps, a reprint of a soil profiles paper, list of Ginseng growers (1905), and Michigan Ginseng Growers convention proceedings (1905). The book contains sections on physical divisions, types of soil, types of vegetation, land types, land use, and possibilities for agricultural production and includes a foldout Michigan Soil Association map.
