Spartan Wives Club records

Scope and Contents

This collection contains meeting agendas, member directories, financial records, newsletters summaries of club activities. There is also a Handbook for Student Leaders as well as guides for student organizations. Also included is a transcript of a panel discussion of Spartan Wives members in an education department class on April 14, 1947. There are also scrapbooks which contain photographs, newspaper clippings about the organization, event programs and other memorabilia.

Theodore Foster papers

Scope and Contents The scrapbook contains images of campus buildings, class rivalry postcards and poster, and class ballots. There are also photographs and programs from Camp Custer, an ROTC camp. Materials relating to the Eunomian Literary Society include a newsletter, programs, a circa 1934 reunion photograph. There is also a photograph of the Scabbard and Blade Swing Out Convocation from November 11, 1925. Tower Guard records

Scope and Content The records of the Tower Guard consist of minutes, reports, correspondence, memos, agendas, and scrapbooks. The records have been created by the students in the organization and are rather informal and vary in their content. In addition, there are a large number of undated records. Papers of Walter Newton consist of one scrapbook, containing programs, tickets, greeting cards, postcards, party invitations, photographs, and news clippings describing activities of the Phi Delta Society, athletic events, and campus life. Also included is Michigan Agricultural College memorabilia, as well as handouts from a surveying class, and a 1911 Commencement program.
