The John M. Gram papers contain one copy of the typescript, “Historical Development of the Grand River Road, East Lansing, Michigan.” Grand River Road was originally formed from Indian trails. The Justin Kestenbaum collection contains photographic materials such as photographs, negatives, and transparencies that Kestenbaum used for his books, "Out of the Wilderness: An Illustrated History of Greater Lansing" and "At the Campus Gate: A History of East Lansing." Some of the photographs came from the University Archives and Historical Collections; others were taken by Kestenbaum himself. The photographs show people and places from the Lansing area.
