Western Federation of Miners records
This collection of materials consists of correspondence, flyers, petitions, and ephemera about the Western Federation of Miners and affiliated local unions. Included is correspondence from WFM Secretary-Treasurer William D. Haywood, detailed letters concerning the Northern Michigan copper miners strike of 1913-1914, pamphlets requesting financial assistance to aid strikers around the country, leaflets listing delinquent and unfair workers, and flyers promoting the eight-hour work day.

The collection contains the first issue of What's Left? The issue contains articles on the Miami riots in 1980 and opinions on President Carter's Iran invasion cancellation.

William A. Ball Collection
The William A. Ball collection consists of color slides taken by Ball of the dedication of the Macklin Field in 1948. The dedication slides show the bands as well as dignitaries on the field. Other slides in the collection include flooding in Lansing and East Lansing in 1947, and a Lansing Memorial Day parade in 1947. One of the flooding pictures shows the MSC Band Shell with water around it.

William Farquhar papers
The William Farquhar papers contain Farquhar's vita as well as reports and articles written by Farquhar about academic achievement, motivation, and counseling. Also included is the report "1976 Inventory of Summer Project Resources Region V, Migrant Education Project Directors Report Full Technical Report Part II" from the Montcalm Area Intermediate School District Region VI Migrant Education Program.
William Frank Staley papers
The William F. Staley collection includes a class of 1888 M.A.C. yearbook with WF Staley embossed on front and book mark at his picture. Throughout the yearbook, death dates have been written by some of the portraits. Also included is a 50th Anniversary photograph of the class of 1888 (W. F. Staley is 4th from left front) with notations on back, and a photograph of the Staley family.
