The Student Workers Union records consists of flyers and a brochure about their effort to unionize student workers on campus. Also included is a State of Michigan Notice of Election, an authorization for collective bargaining card, a Student Workers Union membership card, and memo about the election for unionization from the Office of Student Employment.
Students' Association records
The records of the Students’ Association contain a single bound volume, which includes the constitution of the organization and the procedures for holding a trial, determining jury duty for trials, appealing the verdict, the punishments for being found guilty, and the rules within the dormitories.
Students for a Democratic Society collection
The collection contains leaflets, newspapers clippings, pamphlets, and photographs created by Students for a Democratic Society, Weathermen, and Prairie Fire and pertain to the politics and activities of those groups. Topics include Vietnam War protests, women's rights, anti-imperialism, and other topics. A large proportion of the materials relate specifically to the presence of the SDS at Michigan State University and surrounding Michigan universities.
