Swimming records
These records contain swimming championships programs for 1941, 1959, 1960, 1962, a handout of land exercises for competitive swimming from 1956, and a memo about judging by lanes from 1956. Also included are 22 volumes of scrapbooks which contain newspaper articles about the Michigan State University swim team, local high school and recreational teams, as well as some articles about swimming on the national level.

This collection contains programs from the 1964 NCAA Men’s Tennis Championship held at Michigan State University as well as the Men’s Big Ten Tennis Championship from 1966. Also included is the serial Michigan State Tennis.
The Bubble UA 12.7.16
The Bubble contained short articles, poems, and notices of events around campus. There was substance to the articles, though their tone was often satirical or humorous. There were observations of lectures, books, and the evils of smoking. The publication also took great joy in insulting neighboring communities. After Burton graduated The Bubble ceased to exist. It would be 13 more years before another student publication appeared on campus.

Track and Field (Sports Information Office) records
This collection contains a photocopy of “Spartan Thinclad News” from April 1937, a program for the inaugural meet of the new track on campus. It gives a history of track at Michigan State as well as the program for the dedication of the track. The collection also includes programs for Big Ten Indoor track meets, a Big Ten outdoor meet, as well a program for the State Journal Spartan relays, an indoor high school meet.
