There is also material relating to Clifton R. Wharton Sr. and his time as a U.S. Ambassador. The collection also contains genealogical materials.
Clyde and Mary Henson collection
The Clyde and Mary Henson collection primarily contains portraits of Civil War veterans. Notable portraits include Ulysses S. Grant and George B. McClellan. Colt Studio photographs collection
The Colt Studio photographs collection contains 80 sets of homoerotic photographs produced by Colt Studio, as well as a few brochures, catalogs, calendars, and magazines. Each photograph set corresponds to a specific model. The majority of images are black and white, with a few in color.
Comfort Foods collection
The Comfort Foods Collection contains an invitation, the program, a list of actors, the grant, a copy of the play script, and pages from the cookbooks; all relating to the production of Comfort Foods, as performed at the MSU Libraries on October 30, 2012.
Communist Party of the United States of America collection
The CPUSA was the most important American radical organization from its factionalized 1919 origins well into the 1950s. This collection consists of works published by and about the Communist Party and its front organizations, books, pamphlets, newspapers and mimeographed reports dating from 1913-1960. Since this collection was acquired in 1960 many items have been separated to receive item level cataloging. These are located in the American Radicalism Collection.
