Scope and Contents The Frederick Bourns papers contain several certificates recording the elections of trustees for the First Presbyterian Society of Vassar, Michigan, of which Bourns was an elder. Also included are eligibility lists for Civil War military service, submitted to Bourns by various townships in Tuscola County, Michigan.
