Rogers, of Eaton County, Michigan to his brother and sister in Wyoming County, New York, giving a very detailed inventory of his farm and an account of his agricultural prospects. Rogers describes the schools, businesses, and professions in the new town of Eaton Rapids, and tells about the building of the early state capital in Lansing.

Scope and Content The Lynn Stuart Brumm Collection consists of a scrapbook created by Brumm during his time at Michigan Agricultural College. Included are photographs of MAC baseball players, a few images of MAC football, students, people, animals and campus scenes. This collection contains Mabel Henderson Hutchinson's scrapbooks which include an autobiographical sketch from birth to 1943 with many mementos from school, friends, activities and news clippings. Mabel kept extensive journals of each Florida trip she and her husband took, as well as other trips across the west. Also included in the collection are photographs of relatives of the John Henderson family, friends and their families and a sewing book done by Mabel.
