This collection consists of a handwritten document (1842) appointing Levi B. Littlefield First Sergeant in the "Barry Artillery" Company of Ash (Mich.), 17th Regiment, 9th Brigade, 5th Division of the Michigan Militia. The warrant is signed by Captain Morris Littlefield.
