Alonzo and J. H. Towner papers
The collection contains a diary (1869-1870) of Alonzo Towner depicting farm life in Bath, Clinton County, Michigan. Added to the back of the diary are the minutes (1902-1910) of board meetings of the Perry Percheron Horse Company, a stud service operating in Perry, Shiawassee County, Michigan, recorded by the acting secretary, J. H. Towner.
Hale family papers
This collection consists of five small account books and one receipt noting general store purchases and crop sales of R. Hale and Sanford Hale of Shiawassee County, Michigan.
Kathryn Packard collection
This collection includes grants of public lands in the District of Detroit, Michigan Territory, to Samuel W. Dexter of New York (1824-1825). The collection also contains deeds, pertaining to lands in Washtenaw and Shiawassee Counties, Michigan, purchased by Dexter. Also included are tax receipts for land in Shiawassee County belonging to Francis Prevost and Alvin Brown Lodge, Lodge No. 30 (1884), and a certificate of recommendation into the Masonic Order for Luther Boyden of Mississippi.

Mortimer Bradley Martin papers
The collection contains financial records and newspaper clippings of Mortimer Bradley Martin, a farmer in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Three account books list farm and personal expenses for 1837-1841, 1840-1849, and 1862-1906. A detailed obituary and two newspaper articles, one about Martin's violin and the other about the farm house he built, are also included.
